The Venue

The IBB International Golf & Country Club was commissioned in 1992 and has been the home of many professional championships. It has a roll of honour only equalled by few and it is certainly the finest and most prestigious golf course in Nigeria.

This breath-taking golf facility is set amongst 130 acres of undulating parkland in the valley of Aso Rock, on the edge of the exclusive Aso-Drive estate Abuja. The highly complimented course designed on magnificent landscapes was originally designed by Richard Stillwell, incorporating terrain and natural hazards. Its rolling fairways and subtle contours are deceptively landscaped to test the golfers’ full repertoire.

The Course

This 5630 yards par 72, 18 holes championship golf course blends beauty, thrill and challenge. One of the most difficult holes is undoubtedly the 4th, a 352 yard par 4, but the 460 yard 14th presents a different kind of test for the golfer each time it is played. This splendid golf course is in the heart of picturesque Aso-Drive and will provide a pleasurable and memorable day for any one wishing to play golf in Abuja.

The world class practice range also affords aspiring golfers the benefit of first class facilities, which makes learning golf fun and special.

The Clubhouse

Overlooking the 18th green of the course, the clubhouse is masterfully situated on the course. The lounge bar and restaurant command striking panoramic views over the course. Full bar and catering facilities incorporate an extensive menu and range of beveridges. Excellent locker and shower facilities are also available for use by members and visitors to the course. The well-stocked pro-shop within the clubhouse offers a wide range of golfing gear and accessories, trolley and buggy hire.
