Terms & Conditions
Although all reasonable efforts have been made to ensure
the accuracy of the information (including prices), in this website,
on our other promotional materials, quotes and print media, regrettably
changes and errors occasionally occur. You must therefore check the details
of the service or product you require at the time of demand.
PRICE POLICY:
We reserve the right to change any of the prices advertised
in our website, quote or any promotional materials at any time to reflect
the existing situation before a contract is agreed. You will clearly
be advised of any changes in price at the time of demand. However, any
subsequent fluctuation in price will not apply to agreed contracts, except
where otherwise stated.
PAYMENT:
A deposit of 50% of your total fee (including VAT)
must be paid at the time of booking a leisure service. We reserve the
right to request additional deposit for certain bookings, where we need
to pay an additional sum to secure your booking requirements. Any outstanding
balance must be paid no later than six (6) weeks to the schedule date
of your event. Payments for other services are determined on the terms
of the particular contract.
METHODS OF PAYMENT:
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard
and American Express. All payments made by credit card carry a 1.5% handling
charge. However, we also accept other forms of payments, Cheque, Bank
Draft, Money Order, Cash or Wire Transfer depending on the circumstance.
Please clearly print your booking/reference number on the back of the
cheque, bank draft, or bank teller.
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING:
Any person making a booking for any of our leisure
services, must be aged 18yrs or over. Once you have confirmed your booking
by email, telephone or post and paid the appropriate deposit, we will
send you an email confirmation (or post, if requested), which will indicate
your event schedule, deposit paid and balance. Henceforth, your contract
is validated. Any changes to information inaccurately provided on your
booking or any other document can be made within 72hrs of receiving confirmation,
as we cannot guarantee the possibility of further changes after this
time. We do not accept liability for errors notified to us after the
stipulated 72hrs of confirming your booking.
Please note that for group bookings, it is the responsibility
of the lead name on the confirmation to communicate any updates to the
rest of the group.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS POLICY:
Customers who choose to participate in any of our leisure
events are entitled to cancel a booking by forwarding us a written notification
and shall get a full refund (excluding 2.5% service charge), for bookings
cancelled within 5 (five) working days of confirmation. You will forfeit
any deposit paid if you choose to cancel after the stipulated cooling
period. However, we shall not make any refunds for any cancellations
made after final balance has been paid for an event.
RETURNS POLICY:
Product purchased from us can be returned in the same
condition within 14days of delivery. We would always issue a full refund
where necessary, but as some items are ordered from overseas specifically
for a customer, which will require some overseas charges that includes
freights, excise charges, packaging, vat, etc. we regret a full refund
may not always be possible in these situations.
AMMENDMENTS:
This can only be done by the person whose names appear
on the contract and this is subject to availability. Charges may often
apply in this circumstance, depending on the amendment required.
COMPLAINTS:
Issues regarding complaint should be reported to your
dedicated Events Manager immediately. We always expect to resolve complaints
as quickly as possible. But where a customer is not satisfied, the customer
is advised to put forward a written complaint to the Director of Golf
at any of our addresses on the contact us page that covers your region
within two weeks of completion of event. Failure to adhere to this procedure
may affect your entitlement to claim compensation where this would or
may otherwise have been appropriate.
SPECIAL REQUEST AND MEDICAL ISSUES:
It is the customers’ responsibility to advise
us of any special request or medical issues at the time of entering contract.
Although we would endeavour to provide any reasonable request, we regret
we cannot guarantee any request will be met. If any special request can
be provided, we would always confirm to the customer the availability
of such request.
If you or any member of your party has any medical
problem that may be of concern during any of our events, you must give
us full details in writing at the time of booking. If we reasonably feel
unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned,
we must reserve the right to decline your reservation or if dull details
are not given at the time of booking, cancel when we become aware of
these details.
PASSPORTS, VISAS AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
For our overseas golf breaks, it is your responsibility
to make sure that you fulfil all requirements necessary for overseas
travel. All cost incurred in processing travel documents do form a part
of our fee and shall be borne by you. We will not accept liability if
you are refused entry onto any transport or into any country due to failure
on your part to carry correct documentation. Please endeavour to check
all travel requirements with the embassy or consulate of the country(ies)
you are intending to travel.
THIRD PARTIES:
Amaris Golf Solutions undertakes to select hotels,
restaurants, golf courses, transport and other services, which have good
reputation. We will not accept any liability for acts of omissions whether
negligent or otherwise of third parties or any other person providing
services in connection with the arrangements of the group/individual(s)
unless such a person is employed by us or subject to our direct control.
ADVERTISEMENT AND SPONSORSHIPS:
Part of the amarisgolf.com site and some of our events
venues may contain advertising and sponsorship. Advertisers and sponsors
are responsible for ensuring that materials submitted for inclusion on
the amarisgolf.com website or displayed on any of our events venue, complies
with relevant laws and codes. We will not be responsible for any error
or inaccuracy in advertising and sponsorship material.
FORCE MAJURE:
Except where otherwise stated in your contract, we
regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance
or prompt performance of our contractual obligation is prevented or affected
by or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of “force
majure”. In this case force majure means any event which we or
any third party associated with us could not, even with all due care,
foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat to war, riot,
civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute,
natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire, political
interference and all similar events outside our control.
COURSE MANAGEMENT & STAFF TRAINING:
All the terms and conditions for course management
and staff training contract is negotiated and agreed with the client.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Equipments, Accessories & Merchandise: Pictures
of products on our website and on all our other promotional materials,
is designed to give our customers an idea of the product and may not
necessarily reflect the exact item. (Please call for details).
Tee Time: It is your responsibility
to ensure that you or your team arrive early for your pre-booked tee
time. Amaris Golf Solutions will not accept any responsibility due to
late arrival or inappropriate behaviour on the golf course or within
the event venue.
Should we have to change your times once we have confirmed
them; (the golf club may alter them for club competitions etc.) we will
ensure a suitable alternative is arranged.
Dress Code: Some facilities have a
strict dress code. Ensure at all time that you comply. (Jacket and tie
might be required; Jeans, shorts etc. are usually not accepted in the
club house or on the golf course.)
Rules: The rules for all our events
are determined by the Director of Golf in accordance with the “Rules
of Golf” of the Royal and Ancient of St. Andrews, Scotland.
Handicap Certificate and Scorecard: It
is your responsibility to bring a handicap certificate. We shall provide
you with a score card where necessary.
